Proven by Performance: A Recap of Austasia Animal Products’s 2024

What a year 2024 has been for the Austasia Animal Products (AAP) team!

With a new website launched, new staff, innovative products unveiled, and numerous events attended, 2024 was a dynamic and eventful year for us. Here’s a recap of some of AAP’s highlights:

Australian Dairy Conference

At the start of the year, John and Liam travelled to Melbourne to attend the 2024 Australian Dairy Conference. The event provided an excellent opportunity to reconnect with customers and industry colleagues while gaining valuable insights into the latest advancements shaping Australian and international dairy industries.

Featuring a diverse lineup of exceptional speakers, the conference addressed current industry challenges and showcased innovative solutions designed to overcome them.

Australian WagyuEdge Conference

Following the dairy conference, Paul, Iain, and Gerhard headed north to Cairns for WagyuEdge’24.

This event offered perspectives into the latest trends influencing both domestic and international Wagyu markets. Events like the Australian WagyuEdge are always great moments for the guys to connect with our customers and colleagues in the industry.

Welcome Tony Grob

In June, we were thrilled to welcome Tony “Grobby” Grob to the AAP team as our Central Business Manager.

With more than 25 years of experience in agricultural sales, Tony has built a distinguished career working with key stakeholders across Australia’s ruminant and monogastric animal sectors. Since joining AAP, Tony has been hard at work supporting our customers in southern Queensland and northern New South Wales, helping them achieve their goals.

Launch of the New AAP Website

Since 1996, Austasia Animal Products has proudly been Australia’s market leader in organic trace minerals. Approaching nearly three decades of expertise, we felt 2024 was the perfect time to elevate our digital presence with the launch of a brand-new website.

Seamlessly aligning with our 2023 rebrand, the new website showcases a fresh, modern look that reflects our commitment to innovation and quality. We’re proud of our new website as it underscores our dedication to supplying evidence-based solutions for Australian production animal sectors.

BeefEx 2024

October marked the return of the Australian Lot Feeders Association’s biennial BeefEx in Brisbane.

With feedlot operators, producers, and industry businesses gathered, we were honoured to host our Welcome Function, giving back to an industry that has supported us since 1996. BeefEx also served as the perfect platform to unveil Beef Culture Plus to the Australian feedlot community.

The conference facilitated great discussions with our customers and provided insights into the latest developments in the beef industry. We’re proud to support ALFA and the Australian Beef Industry.

Launch of LiquiTrace ZM

This year, we also saw the unveiling of a new specific organic trace mineral for Australian poultry, LiquiTrace ZM.

LiquiTrace ZM is a unique combination of products, zinc and manganese, chemically bonded with the essential amino acid, methionine. This highly bioavailable complex enhances mineral and amino acid absorption in poultry.

We’re known for our work within the Australian beef industry and we look forward to working with local poultry producers and industries with the same commitment and dedication.

Australian Egg Industry Forum

To close out the year, Tony and Jason attended the Australian Eggs Industry Forum in Melbourne.

This forum was an excellent opportunity to connect with industry experts, potential partners, and clients while showcasing our organic trace mineral solutions tailored for the poultry sector. Looking ahead, we’re excited to collaborate with the Australian poultry industries, and this event provided a great introduction for Austasia Animal Products.

Looking Forward

As 2024 draws to a close, we’re proud of all we’ve accomplished this year. From connecting with industry leaders to launching innovative solutions, our team remains dedicated to supporting Australia’s animal food-producing industries with excellence and expertise.

Here’s to continued success and innovation in the year ahead!
